Creative Team Away Days
Meaningful offline time together
Looking for something a little different for your next team away day?
I offer creative, thoughtful and completely offline sessions for small staff teams to step away from day-to-day work and screens, spend meaningful time together and leave feeling refreshed, connected and inspired.
Gathered around one table, we’ll slow down, make something with our hands to take home as a physical reminder of our time together, talk, think, learn and get to know each other beyond our usual work roles.
Sometimes our craftivism approach is a gentle way into bigger conversations about how we work, think, communicate and create positive change individually and as a team. Sometimes the focus is simply on enjoying doing something creative together. Or we can explore my Gentle Protest approach more explicitly, looking at how we can be thoughtful, strategic and compassionate changemakers in our work and wider lives.
For charities, social enterprises and purpose-led businesses, I can tailor the session to your organisation’s mission and values, giving your team time and space to reflect on why you do what you do and how you want to do it.
Depending on the time we have together, sessions can include an illustrated talk, Q&A, small group activities, reflection and a hand-embroidery workshop. You don’t need any craft experience (just an open heart and an open mind!).
Sessions are available for up to 20 people and can be:
90 minutes minimum
Half a day
A full day
I can come to your workplace or join you at an away-day venue. I’m based in London and travel across the UK, and further afield where budgets allow.

These sessions work especially well for remote and hybrid teams who spend much of their working lives on screens and want to make the most of their precious time together in person.
Recent Team Sessions
Recent sessions have included the all-male Tech Operations team at Octopus Energy, who gathered at the beautiful Art Workers’ Guild in London (where I’m a member) for an evening away from their screens, and William Joseph, a fully remote digital agency whose team travelled to Oxford for one of their quarterly days together.
