Eleanor Roosevelt: Stitchable Changemaker DIY kit

£8.00

Complete these stitchable dot-to-dot cards as a group or on your own. As the face of your chosen change-maker is revealed, reflect on the values threaded through them and their lives. This mindful stitching also creates a space to connect to your own values that thread through your own daily thoughts, actions and choices.

Connect the dots with needle and thread to reveal a portrait of an inspiring change maker. A quote is also included from each of them to reflect on whilst stitching. On the back there is also some information about their background.

“The best way to predict the future is to create it” Abraham Lincoln

“My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together” Desmond Tutu

“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts” Eleanor Roosevelt

“We were scared but our fear was not as strong as our courage” Malala Yousafzai

Each kit contains:

  • Dot-to-Dot Card printed using letterpress system on recycled card (portrait: 125cm wide x 176mm tall)

  • Embroidery thread

  • Needle

  • Clear instructions

  • Crafter-thought questions to reflect on whilst stitching.

  • Brown envelope made ethically in the UK on recycled paper.

  • A little sticker as a gift to you x

Sales of these kits help to sustain and grow the Craftivist Collective’s global activities to engage people in gentle craftivism and support people to be the change they wish to see in the world.

Made ethically by hand using traditional letterpress printing on recycled card at The Letterpress Collective, Bristol. Sarah then assembles all the kits by hand in her flat in London.
